About Us
The Glenerie Lake Park Improvement Association (GLPIA) is dedicated to the improvement and betterment of the Glenerie Lake Park community and to promoting the social and general welfare of the community and its environment, the Esopus Creek.
The Association was established in 1927 and incorporated in 1950. The GLPIA represents over 350 households bounded on the West by the Esopus Creek, on the East by Route 9W, on the South by the southern end of Glenerie Blvd, and on the North by the Railroad Trestle running over the Esopus Creek.
OUR MISSION: To provide for the improvement and betterment of Glenerie Lake Park and to promote the social and general welfare of its property owners and residents.
OUR FOCUS: Building a Strong Community, Neighborhood Safety, Continuous Improvement of Glenerie, Working Together as a Community, Waterfront Property Erosion & the Impact on Taxes, Esopus Creek Preservation.
